Peskov: Russia seriously interested in IT specialists

MOSCOW, Jan 24 (PRIME) -- IT specialists are of a high interest for Russia, and conditions for their work should be created, the president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

“We have already said that, certainly, these qualified staff are of a huge interest for the country, and, of course, we want all necessary conditions to be created to bring them back,” Peskov said. “They should be worked with so that they would continue their activities for the benefit of Russian companies and, as a result, for the benefit of Russia.”

These are “rare valuable staff,” he added.

Metals giant Norilsk Nickel President Vladimir Potanin said earlier that no restrictions should be imposed against the IT specialists who left the country at least for a long period.
